The Van Life: Prepare to Break Down
thevanlifetv.com

If you think living a van life is one long vacation, prepare to get schooled. When Ph.D. candidate Georgie Landis loses a year’s worth of work and her boyfriend on the same day, she decides to make a last-ditch effort to save her academic ass by studying the world that carried away her dad –– the world of Volkswagen Vanagon enthusiasts. Armed with fanatical attention to detail and an insanely supportive friend, Georgie tries to gain access, only to discover it takes more than owning a van and being smart. To enter the van world, you must first prove your cred and earn your battle scars.

In five brief (very brief) episodes, Georgie finagles and fights her way into the BusStop – a garage for the Vanagon-minded – where she finds her dissertation, herself, and maybe answers to the age old question, “What the hell happened to dad?”
