Fictional Body Parts

Find out what happens when a Women’s Studies professor quits her job and goes to work in the fitness industry, all while trying to kick a secret eating disorder.  It’s not a recipe for success, but it’s funny.

A solo theater piece about feminist body politics and the parts of eating disorder recovery you never see. Written and performed by Kelly Rafferty and developed with Martha Rynberg, director of the Solo Performance Workshop.  I’m currently performing excerpts of the full show at Stage Werx Theater as part of the Solo Sundays series, the Marsh, and the Solo Performance Workshop.  Sign up for my mailing list to get updates on the show’s progress and local performances.
